Why hummidiers matter
- Comfort: Dry air causes dry skin, chapped lips, itchy eyes, and scratchy throats
- Health: Helps reduce nosebleeds, sinus irritation, coughing, and respiratory discomfort
- Better sleep: Moist air can ease snoring and nighttime congestion
- Protects your home: Prevents hardwood floors, furniture, trim, and instruments from cracking or shrinking
- Static reduction: Less shocking doorknobs and clinging clothes
- HVAC efficiency: Proper humidity can make your home feel warmer at lower thermostat settings
- Ideal indoor humidity:
30–50% is the sweet spot - Below 30% = too dry
- Above 50% = risk of mold and condensation
